Guru Nanak Dev’s message can do good for the world: CM Shri Chouhan

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan conveyed his warm greetings to every citigen on the 552nd Prakash Parv of Guru Nanak Dev ji and said that the message given by Guru Nanak Dev ji for the upliftment of mankind, can do welfare of the whole world today. If we walk on the path of Ek Omkar, then all discrimination will end and all problems will be solved. On the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan prayed for prosperity, peace, brotherhood, progress and development of the state by offering ardas at the Gurdwara located at Hamidia Road. It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Shri Chouhan visits the Gurudwara every year to seek blessings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was welcomed in the Gurudwara with the words ‘Ji aaya nu’. The Gurdwara Management Committee offered ardas wishing that Chief Minister Shri Chouhan always remained ‘chardi kala’ which meant a positive, buoyant attitude’ and continued to serve humanity.
On the occasion of Prakash Parv, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan started his speech with “Wahe Guru Ji Ka Khalsa – Wahe Guru Ji Ki Fateh”. Extending ‘Lakh-Lakh Badhaiyan’ on the occasion of Prakash Parv, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that “Ek Noor se Sab Jag Upja” there should be no discrimination, no caste, no big and no small. Guru Nanak also said that men and women are equal. All women must be respected. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan expressed happiness that the secretary of the Management Committee of the Gurudwara is a woman. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan, while bowing at the feet of Guru Nanak Dev ji, prayed that there should be happiness-prosperity, riddhi-siddhi in the state, country and the whole world, may all people be happy and healthy, may all walk on the right path and seek unity, love and brotherhood.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that as a servant of the state, I have come to the Gurudwara to pray to God that he should give me so much strength so that I can serve everyone in the right way. It is our good fortune that Guru Nanak ji had also visited Bhopal. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that necessary arrangements would be made regarding the lease of Gurudwara Tekri Sahib. Shri Chouhan ended his speech with ‘Jo Bole So Nihal-Sat shri Akal’. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan had Kada Prasad and was presented with shawls and emblems from the Gurudwara.
