The 67th National School Games 2023-24 is being organized by the Punjab Government from January 06 to January 11, 2024 at Ludhiana. Around 3000 players and officials will arrive from across the country to participate in these games. This was revealed by Additional Deputy Commissioner Jagraon Major Amit Sareen while presiding over the meeting of the top officials of the district regarding the arrangements for these games at his office Mini Secretariat Ludhiana.
Major Amit Sareen gave detailed preliminary information and said that the opening ceremony of the 67th National School Games will be held on January 06, 2024 at the Athletics Track, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. Additional Deputy Commissioner Jagraon Major Amit Sareen said that security and traffic arrangements for the 67th National School Games will be made by the Ludhiana Police. will go Accommodation of players and officials and medical teams and ambulance facilities at various venues of the games will be arranged by Civil Surgeon Ludhiana. The Regional Transport Authority will assist in transport arrangements for the players and officials from the teams coming from outside states to various locations and from the railway station and bus stand to the accommodation.
Mr. Sareen said that similarly arrangements will be made by the traffic police regarding the provision of buses to bring and transport the players and officials to different sports venues, common mess and residence. The District Food and Supply Officer will look after the arrangements for the supply of food required for the official and teams from outside states. He said that similarly, duties have been assigned to other departments to carry out the various arrangements of these games, so that these games can be conducted in a smooth and orderly manner. He also asked the officials to perform their respective duties with honesty, diligence and diligence regarding the arrangements of these games.
