Daburs Chyawanprash in Pithampur

The representatives of Dabur India met Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and appreciated the Devarnya Yojana of the state. Mohit Malhotra, Chief Executive Officer, Dabur India said that the Devaranya scheme is useful for units manufacturing ayurvedic and personal care products and is meaningful for income generation at the local level. In view of the positive environment and facilities for industrial investment in the state, Dabur is keen to invest in Madhya Pradesh as compared to other states. There is a plan to invest 570 crores on 19.62 hectares in Pithampur of Dhar, which will provide employment to more than 1200 people. Food item Chyawanprash besides other Ayurvedic products, personal care products will be made in the unit established here. The total production capacity of the unit will be about 75 thousand metric tonnes per annum. It is noteworthy that Dabur India is the world’s largest Ayurvedic and natural health care company which is 136 years old. Its turnover is about 8 thousand 700 crores.
