Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel has extended best wishes for the success of Armed Forces Flag Day. He has requested the people of the state to show respect and solidarity towards the martyrs who made the state and the country proud by sacrificing their lives to protect the country and the soldiers on duty at the border by contributing maximum amount in the welfare fund on the occasion of Armed Forces Flag Day.

Governor Shri Patel has said that this year the whole country is celebrating the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. Our country got freedom after the sacrifices of innumerable people. The Armed Forces Flag Day is an occasion to cooperate in effectively running the welfare schemes of the soldiers, martyrs and their dependents and families of the armed forces deployed on the borders for the defence of this freedom.
