On day 149 of routine domestic operations in Jammu and Kashmir, 31 domestic flights with 3,827 passengers on board reached Jammu and Srinagar Airports. A total of 1392 passengers aboard 12 regular commercial flights reached at the Jammu Airport while 19 domestic flights with about 2435 passengers aboard arrived at Srinagar Airport. Jammu Airport Authorities have got a total of 1,381 domestic flights with 140,218 passengers while Srinagar Airport Authorities have received 2,253 domestic flights with 3,05,077 passengers since 25th of May. The government has brought back about 3806 passengers from various countries to the Union Territory through special evacuation flights in the times of Covid 19. After reaching all the passengers were tested for the COVID at both the airports and all necessary precautions were done. The Government has made number of arrangements for the arrival, screening, sampling and proper transportation of the passengers to the quarantine centers taking special care of guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) prescribed by the Union Ministries of Civil Aviation and Health and Family Welfare.
