In view of the 2024 Lok Sabha and Haryana Vidhan Sabha elections, the Aam Aadmi Party’s preparations in Haryana are in full swing and various ministers and senior AAP leaders have been given the responsibilities of strengthening the party in the different areas of the state. The party has appointed Harbhajan Singh ETO, Punjab Power and Public Works Minister, as in-charge of Lok Sabha constituency Karnal .
During a brief interaction in this regard, Harbhajan Singh ETO said that he is a humble soldier of Aam Aadmi Party and whenever and wherever the party assigns him duty, he will perform his duty with full dedication and hard work. He said that under the leadership of its national convener Arvind Kejriwal the party will form the government in Haryana with a big victory.
It is worth mentioning here that Harbhajan Singh ETO, who joined the Aam Aadmi Party after resigning from the post of Excise and Taxation Officer (ETO) in 2016, defeated the Congress candidate from Jandiala Guru Constituency with a big margin during the 2022 Punjab Vidhan Sabha Elections. During the recently held Jalandhar Lok Sabha by-election, the party also appointed the Minister as the in-charge of Kartarpur constituency. He mobilized the party’s Kartarpur unit and played important role in the victory of Sushil Kumar Rinku by scoring maximum votes from the Kartarpur constituency. Now the Aam Aadmi Party has given him another big responsibility by appointing him as the in-charge of Karnal, as it is also the constituency of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.
