Covid 19: Unlock 5.0 guidelines issued in September to remain in force till 30th November

New Delhi, October 27

The Ministry of Home Affairs issued an order today to extend the guidelines issued on September 30, to remain in force till November 30, 2020. The order further stated that the lockdown shall continue to be implemented strictly in the containment zones till November 30, 2020.

The Centre said that the current guidelines allowing various activities like opening of theatres and multiplexes with upto 50% of their seating capacity will continue to be applicable till November 30th. There will be no restriction on inter-state and intra-state movement of persons and goods.

Outside the containment zone, all activities except i) International air travel of passengers, except as permitted by MHA. ii) Opening of Entertainment parks and similar places, shall be permitted.

State and UT governments are given flexibility regarding reopening of schools and coaching institutes.
