The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Kisan Morcha organized a farmers’ outreach programme today at village Gharkhal in Pargwal Mandal, Akhnoor district. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the local farming community, with over 150 farmers in attendance.

The programme was led by BJP Kisan Morcha State President Rakesh Pant, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his continued commitment to the welfare of Indian farmers.

In his address, Rakesh Pant highlighted the recent disbursal of the 20th instalment of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi, which has provided direct financial assistance to farmers across the country. He said the scheme is a “revolutionary step towards empowering the farming community and ensuring their economic stability.”

Pant emphasized that the Narendra Modi government has consistently prioritized agricultural reforms and farmer welfare through landmark schemes and initiatives. He urged the farmers present to make full use of the benefits being extended under the PM-Kisan Yojana and other agricultural development programmes launched by the central government.

Also present at the programme were prominent BJP leaders including Akhnoor District President Kuldeep Banotra, Dr. Amin, Javed Ahmad Mir, Anita Rajput, Balwinder Sharma, Amandeep Singh, Sunny, and Dalbir Singh Pawar. Each of the leaders interacted with the farmers, listened to their concerns, and assured them of continued support from the BJP government at both central and state levels.

Speaking at the event, Kuldeep Banotra said the government’s consistent outreach to farmers and its people-first policies are transforming rural India. He lauded the Modi-led administration for its vision of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas” and noted that schemes like PM-Kisan are directly contributing to grassroots development.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks to all participants and a pledge from the BJP Kisan Morcha to continue working in close coordination with farmers to address their needs and support agricultural growth.
