Tarn Taran 23, August 2020
“The dictatorial and inhumane attitude of Tarn Taran Police Chief has forced Aam Aadmi Party volunteers to continue their protest in order to seek justice for the families of victims who died after consuming spurious liquor” these views were expressed by the Aam Aadmi Party’s legislator from Kot Kapura Kultar Singh Sandhawan. He said that AAP is an outcome of people’s revolution against the corrupt system and we shall always be on forefront while fighting for the justice.
AAP MLA Kulwant Singh Pandori who joined the protest today said that people of Punjab are quiet aware about the loot being done by the leaders of ruling party and are waiting for the right time to vent their ire against the anti-policies of Raja Amarinder Singh government. This is a reason that large number of people are extending their support to AAP in protest in Tarn Taran against illicit liquor.
The AAP legislators said that the congress leaders are intentionally promoting the trade of illicit liquor in their areas and the police is supporting them that is the reason why the SSP Tarn Taran is not coming to meet and listen to the demands of AAP volunteers protesting outside his office. They said that the voice of the people cannot be suppressed for long and Aam Aadmi Party will continue its struggle till the registration of murder case against the culprits and patrons of liquor mafia.
Manjinder Singh Lalpura, Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, Jasbir Singh Sur Singh, Gurdev Singh Lakhna, Dalbir Singh Tong, Laljit Singh Bhullar, Baljit Singh Khehra, Kashmir Singh Sohal, Harjit Singh Sandhu, Gurbhej Singh, Vijay Mehta, Jaspreet Singh, Gurpartap Singh along with several AAP volunteers were present on the occasion.
