With the economic activities back on track after the devastating second wave of COVID-19 pandemic, District Employment and Enterprises Bureau (DBEE) has turned a big gainer to provide more and more youths with job opportunities.
Under this unique initiative, Pankaj has got the job of machine operator in Rock Packer through DBEE. Hailing from Mohali Pankaj has studied upto Higher Secondary level. After losing his job of Bank due to COVID restrictions, he was come in DBEE Mohali through someone in search of a job. He was facing hardships to get a job due to COVID-19 after running pillar to post. At DBEE Mohali, he met with Placement Officer Inderjit Saini, who guided him about placement camps held every week at DBEE and self-employment opportunities after carefully heard his entire story and asked him to register with DBEE Mohali. According to his studies and course, Pankaj’s documents was thoroughly checked by the placement officer and sent him to Rock Packer for an interview. After an interview by Rock Packer, Pankaj was selected on the spot according to his profile as machine operator.
On the occasion, Pankaj expressed gratitude towards all officers of DBEE Mohali and lauded the efforts being made by the Punjab Government under the guidance of Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh to provide jobs during COVID-19 pandemic. He promised to share the information about the facilities being provided by DBEE Mohali with his friends and relatives.
