Haryana’s Industries and Commerce Minister Sh. Rao Narbir Singh said on the birth anniversary of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay, the launch of the Lado Lakshmi Yojana is a matter of great joy. This is not merely a scheme, but an effort to express respect towards our mothers and sisters. The BJP had promised this in its manifesto, and Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini has turned it into a ground reality, proving that our government does not just make promises but fulfills resolutions.
The Industries and Commerce Minister was addressing a district-level programme in Gurugram on Thursday on the occasion of the launch of the registration process of the Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana. During this, at the district and sub-divisional level programmes, the live broadcast of the state-level programme organized in Panchkula was also shown.
Addressing the women present at the programme, Sh. Rao Narbir Singh said that a large number of women from different parts of Haryana will be connected to this scheme. “An ordinary woman, above 23 years of age, and with a family income of less than one lakh rupees, will now receive Rs 2100 every month till the age of 60. In the future, this slab will be increased further so that more sisters can benefit from it. This day is not only important for women but also a significant day for every family in Haryana.”
Reiterating the spirit of Antyodaya, he said this scheme embodies the vision of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay, which was to ensure that the government’s facilities and services reach the last person in society. He said, “Today, Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini has taken a step towards empowering women economically. This step will strengthen and empower Haryana further in the coming years. In our manifesto, more than 100 promises were made. The Chief Minister had already made provisions for the Lado Lakshmi Yojana in the budget, and today, by launching it, he has turned it into reality.”
Sh. Rao Narbir Singh today also inaugurated and laid foundation stones of various health projects in the district with the objective of further strengthening health services. He inaugurated the newly constructed buildings of the Block Public Health Units at Sub-Divisional Civil Hospitals in Sohna and Farrukhnagar. Along with this, the renovation work of the Civil Hospital building in Sector-10, Gurugram was inaugurated. The foundation stone of the Sub-Health Centre building at Uncha Majra was also laid by the Minister.
