Tribute to former PM Indira Gandhi on birth anniversary
HIMACHAL, NOVEMBER 19
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur paid rich tribute to former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on her birth anniversary by giving flowers on her statue at the historic Ridge Shimla.
Urban Development Minister Suresh Bhardwaj, Mayor, Municipal Corporation Shimla Satya Kaundal, Councillors and other prominent persons were also present and paid homage to the former Prime Minister.The artists of the Information and Public Relations department presented devotional songs on this occasion.
Chief Minister checked on the site at the Ridge, where statue of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee is being erected. He informed that efforts should be made to complete the work of erecting the statue by 25 December, 2020.
