State government is working at two levels to protect against the third wave
CM Shri Chouhan holds talks with media representatives in Smart Udyan

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that vaccination is the most important step in facing the possible third wave of Corona. Today, a big campaign for vaccination is going on in the state. The second dose of Corona vaccination has been given to 71 percent of the eligible population of the state, 94 percent of the population has been given the first dose. All the remaining eligible persons will have to come forward for vaccination. It is the responsibility of every person to motivate his acquaintances and family members for vaccination. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was discussing with media representatives after planting saplings in Smart Udyan.Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that all arrangements in hospitals like oxygen plants, oxygen lines, oxygen beds etc. have been tested by through mock drills. Other arrangements like equipment, medicines, ventilators, concentrators, Covid care centers etc. are being kept ready. All in-charge ministers are personally visiting and overseeing the arrangements of the hospitals in the districts of their respective charge. We are making sure that we are fully prepared to face the third wave of Corona infection.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the state government is working at two levels. The first attempt is to ensure that the infection does not spread. Efforts are on to make necessary arrangements, take precautions, and follow the Corona guideline with the cooperation of the public. Crisis Management Groups have become active in the state. The Panchayat, Block and District Crisis Management Groups will stand with the administration. The state government is trying to improve all the arrangements. It is our endeavor to ensure that there is no wave at all and if at all there is some impact, the state government should be in a position to tackle it.
