The Chairman\/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv Tashi Gyalson launched the mobile application for Tourist Management in Leh district.<\/p>\n

CEC Tashi Gyalson stated that the mobile app will assist officials to track and maintain a selective database of the collection of Environmental fees from tourists travelling to Leh, Ladakh<\/a>. He added that the fee collected will be utilized in environmental projects in and around Leh and also to meet the salaries of field employees inducted by the District Administration Leh.<\/p>\n

An introduction session was also conducted of the newly inducted \u2018Tourist Assistants\u2019 with the Executive Council of LAHDC Leh. The employees will be responsible for monitoring Environmental fee collection from tourists at various checkpoints of Leh district.<\/p>\n
