APPEALS PEOPLE TO UTILISE http:\/\/connect.punjab.gov.in<\/a>\u00a0TO BOOST DIGITAL SYSTEM TO RESOLVE PUBLIC ISSUES<\/strong><\/p>\n

HOSHIARPUR, SEPTEMBER 3: The Deputy Commissioner Apneet Riyait on Thursday appealed the people to register their complaints online on\u00a0http:\/\/connect.punjab.gov.in<\/a>\u00a0for speedy and time-bound redressal.<\/p>\n

Giving details of this digital step of the State Government, Apneet Riyait said that this system would surely ensure to address the grievances of citizens within stipulated time frame. She said that this initiative would go a long way towards digitizing processes of grievances redressal\u00a0 related to various departments.<\/p>\n

The complainant will receive a computerised call or message once his\/her complaint is redressed, said the Deputy Commissioner adding that in case the complainan was satisfied with the redressal the complaint would be filed otherwise the same would be forwarded to a committee constituted under Public Grievance Redressal Policy for its resolution.<\/p>\n

The Deputy Commissioner also appealed the people to take full advantage of this online portal especially amid COVID-19 restrictions. She said that the people could register their complaints after getting them registered on the portal. She said that the concerned departments would resolve all the complaints\u00a0 within stipulated timeframe.<\/p>\n

Apneet Riyait also informed that the the issues including personal and family disputes, RTI matters, matters that impact territorial integrity of the country or friendly relations with other countries and subjudice or any matter concerning judgment given by any court would not be considered on this portal.<\/p>\n

The Deputy Commissioner also asked the concerned officers to encourage citizens to use this system for submitting their grievances to the concerned government departments for their early resolution.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
