General, Expenditure and Police Observers appointed by the Election Commission of India to maintain a fair, free and transparent environment in the district in view of the Assembly Elections-2022 reached and reviewd the arrangements made for the elections.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Disclosing this here today Deputy Commissioner cum District Election Officer Mrs. Isha Kalia said that IAS Mr. Mohammad Jubair Ali Hashmi (7696550986), IAS Mr. K. Mahesh (7696570986) and IAS Mr. Ajay Gupta (\u00a0 7696590986) has been posted as General Observer.\u00a0 She said that General Observers can be contacted directly on their given mobile numbers.<\/span><\/div>\n

Giving more details, she said that IPS Varun Kapoor (7696580986) has been posted as Police Observer.\u00a0 Similarly IRS Mr. Janardhan Sanathan (7696560986) has been posted as Expenditure Observer.<\/span><\/div>\n

The Deputy Commissioner said that if any one has any grievance regarding the election, he\/she can contact the Observers on their mobile numbers.\u00a0 She said that one can meet the General Observer Mr. Mohammad Jubair Ali Hashmi for Kharar Assembly Constituency at PWD Rest House Kharar from 10 am to 11 am. Likewise Mr. K. Mahesh General Observer for SAS Nagar at Room No. 462 3rd Floor DAC.\u00a0 Mr. Ajay Gupta, General Observer of Assembly Constituency 112 Dera Bassi can be met daily at Tehsildar’s Office Dera Bassi from 10 am to 11 am.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
She said that Police Observer IPS Varun Kapoor will be available for meeting at Municipal Corporation SAS Nagar from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.<\/span><\/div>\n

The General Observers appointed for the Assembly constituencies today visited the offices of the Returning Officers during which they reviewed the nomination process being carried out and instructed the Assistant Observers\u00a0 to keep an eagle’s eye on the expenses incurred by candidates.They also directed them to keep a close watch at the propaganda being carried out by the candidates on social media and electronic media.\u00a0 Meanwhile, the Expenditure Observer also met the Assistant Expenditure Observers and took stock of the expenditure incurred in the election activities.<\/span><\/div>\n
