Anil Vij said that\u00a0 from April 2021 to February 2022 a total of 3,86,946 patients have been provided ambulance services thereby ensuring focus on emergency services and mobilizing ambulance services.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Sharing information in this regard he said that District Hisar is no. 1 as it has answered 27,550 calls, District Ambala is no.2 with 24691 calls and Sirsa is no. 3 with 23137 calls. Whereas in case of providing services to pregnant women District Palwal is no. 1, transported 14151 pregnant women, District Kurukshetra is no. 2 with 11327 and District Jind is no. 3 with 8770 in transporting pregnant women.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>635 ambulances presently functional in State- Vij<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sh. Vij said that the State is presently plying 635 ambulances which include 161 Advanced Life Support Ambulances, 170 Basic Life Support Ambulances, 268 Patient Transport Ambulances and 30 Kilkari ambulances and 6 Neonatal Care ambulances.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He informed that these ambulances are managed by Decentralized Control Rooms operational in almost all districts.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Free transportation services to nearby hospital in case of emergency being by provided-Vij<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 He said that free transportation services are being provided in case of emergencies, from Home\/ incident site to nearest government health facility to pregnant women for Antenatal Check-up\u2019s and delivery. Besides this, ambulance services to drop back home after delivery, to victims of road side accident, for post-natal cases upto 6 weeks after delivery, to sick infants &amp; children upto 5 years of age, for psychiatric emergencies, for freedom fighters, for ex-servicemen &amp; their dependent to Military Hospital\/ nearest Govt. Health facility within the district and for Inter facility Transport\/ tertiary care health facilities are being provided.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Under \u2018Atal Janini Vahini Sewa\u2019 188 ambulances provided-Vij<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He said that out of these 635 ambulances, State has recently deployed 188 Patient Transport Ambulances under \u201cAtal Janani Vahini Sewa\u201d for transporting Pregnant Women to District Hospitals\/ SDH\/ CHC\u2019s\/ PHC\u2019s where heavy delivery load has been identified.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 He said that it is well-defined fact that pre hospital care and quick transportation in the first golden hour of accident\/medical emergencies can save lives to large extent. Thus, Trained Emergency Medical Technicians have been deployed with the ambulances as they are playing a vital role to provide pre-hospital care services during transportation through ambulances.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Health Minister further elaborated that the State always aims to improve health outcomes with concern and focus on Maternal &amp; Child health care. Janani Suraksha Yojna (JSY), Janani Shishu Suraksha Karyakram (JSSK) &amp; Pradhan Mantri Surakasha Matitrva Abhiyan (PMSMA) are various schemes launched by Ministry of Health &amp; family Welfare, Govt. of India for safe institutional deliveries, aiming to reduce Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) and Maternal Mortality Ratio (MMR).<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">State has also procured &amp; deployed 47 Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) in districts to provide better health care services in rural areas.
