Under the able guidance of Sh. Rajinder Aggarwal, Ld. District & Sessions Judge-cum-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Patiala and under the supervision of Ms Parminder Kaur, CJM\/Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Patiala, a medical camp was organized by District Legal Services Authority, Patiala in Central Jail, Patiala with the collaboration of Jail Administration, Health department, Luxmi Bai Institute of Dental Sciences, Patiala and NGO Angel Foundation, Patiala \u00a0on 22.3.2022. In this camp, medical check up of total 747 jail inmates was done by Dr. Paranjan Mitra, Head department of Public Health Dentistry, Dr. Sanjay Bansal, Surgery, Dr. Karanvir Singh Ortho, Dr. Naresh Kumar Bansal, Chest, Dr. Vipanpreet Kaur, Medicine, Dr. Seema Rani, Eye, Dr. Rakesh Tilak Raj, Skin, Dr. Shivinder Toor, Neuro, Dr. Khushwinder Sharma, Gastro, Dr. Manish Sethi, Ortho, Dr. Sakshi Gupta, Psychiatrist. Medicines were also provided to the jail inmates. On this occasion, sanitary pads were also distributed among the women jail inmates by NGO Angel foundation, Patiala.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, Ms Parminder Kaur, CJM\/Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Patiala visited the Medical Camp and talked to all the Doctors present there. Ms Monika Chawla, Head of Law Department and students of Law Department, Punjabi University Patiala also visited this camp.\u00a0 During the camp, Sh. Shiv Raj Singh, Jail Superintendent, Sh. Rajdeep Singh Barar, Additional Deputy Superintendent, Sh. Varun Sharma, Assistant Superintendent, Sh. Mohan Pathak, President, NGO Angel Foundation and jail staff were also present there.<\/p>\n
Today camp court was also held in Central Jail, Patiala by Ms Parminder Kaur, CJM\/Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Patiala. During this camp court, total 07 jail inmates were ordered to be\u00a0 released.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
