EC RDD felicitates Gram Panchayat of Rumbak village<\/h5>\n

The Chairman\/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson on the behalf of LAHDC, Leh extended his wishes on the National Panchayati Raj day commemorating the passing of 73rd Constitutional Amendment Act.<\/p>\n

On the occasion, he said, \u201cHill Council, Leh has enhanced the budget of Panchayats to strengthen the grass root democracy in Leh district. Further, Hill Council Leh would soon conduct a conference with Panchayati Raj Institution (PRI) members to deliberate on various developmental issues.\u201d<\/p>\n

Similarly, Executive Councillor for RDD, Tashi Namgyal Yakzee visited Rumbak village to celebrate National Panchayati Raj day.<\/p>\n

Ministry of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Govt. of India conferred Gram Panchayat Development Award to Panchayat Rumbak, Nimmo Block under the category of \u2018Child-friendly village\u2019 for their excellent child-friendly work in the appraisal year 2020-21.<\/p>\n
