Block Health Mela cum awareness camp organized at Mandi<\/h5>\n
POONCH, APRIL 27 2022<\/strong><\/div>\n

A Health Mela was today organized at Mandi here under the aegis of \u201cAzadi Ka Amrit\u00a0 Mahotsav”.<\/div>\n
The Mela was Inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner, Inder Jeet in presence of Chief Medical Officer Dr. G.A Malik Block Medical Officer, Dr. Nusrat Ul Nissa Bhatti and other dignitaries.<\/p>\n

Senior consultants of health facility of District Hospital Poonch including ENT Consultant, Gynaecologist, Physician, Pediatrician, Ortho Consultant, Ophthalmology, besides AYUSH Department provided healthcare services to the locals,\u00a0 including HB screening and different lab investigations facilities, TB screening, NCD & CCD screening, Malaria screening, Dental checkup, Eye checkup, Gynae checkup, First AID etc.<\/div>\n

\u00a0The locals were also informed about services provided by the Health and Wellness Centre (HWC)\u00a0 and\u00a0 Teleconsultation facility. AYUSH OPD along with Yoga demonstration,\u00a0 Food Safety awareness, Ayushman Sehat Card and Digital ABDM, IDs, Cataract screening were also provided to the visitors.<\/div>\n

\u00a0The Deputy Commissioner also distributed disability certificates, Blood donation certificates, and Golden Card Registration on the spot.<\/div>\n

The team of specialist doctors rendered services to more than 5000 patients who had come from different areas of Mandi.<\/div>\n

Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner also convened a public grievances redressal camp under Block Divas at Mandi Mandir Complex.<\/div>\n

During the programme, PRI members and locals projected development related issues and sought augmentation of water and power supply, Medicare facility and various specific issues i.e;\u00a0 like completion of\u00a0 blacktopping of Mandi -Arai road, adequate staff in educational institutions, Surgeon &\u00a0 Physician\u00a0 for Mandi Hospital\u00a0 and other development\u00a0 related issues.<\/div>\n

After listening to the issues of the locals, the DC redressed many grievances on the spot and passed a slew of directions to the concerned officers for early redress of the rest of the issues.<\/div>\n
DDC Member Riaz Naz, Tehsildar Mandi, Shazad Latief Khan, Executive engineers of different departments besides other district and sectoral officers were present on the occasion.<\/div>\n
