India sustains trend of consistently declining Active Cases<\/h1>\n

New Delhi, October 10. India continues to report a trend of steadily declining active cases. For the second day after the active cases dropped below the 9 Lakh mark after a month, the progressive decline continues.<\/p>\n

India’s active caseload today – \u00a08,83,185<\/strong><\/p>\n

Presently, the active cases comprise merely 12.65%\u00a0<\/strong>of the total positive cases of the country. These are nearly 1\/8<\/strong>th<\/sup><\/strong>\u00a0of the total cases in the country.<\/p>\n

The total recovered cases are 59,88,822 ,\u00a0<\/strong>thereby enhancing the difference with respect to the active cases.<\/p>\n

New confirmed cases \u2013\u00a073,272<\/strong><\/p>\n

Patients recovered and discharged in the last 24 hours – 82,753<\/strong><\/p>\n

The national Recovery Rate has progressed to\u00a085.81%. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

18 States\/UTs<\/strong>\u00a0have recorded Recovery Rate more than the national average.<\/p>\n

This is the result of collaborative action by States\/UTs under Centre’s strategy of comprehensive testing, tracking, quick hospitalization and adherence to the Standard Treatment Protocol.<\/p>\n

76%<\/strong>\u00a0of the new recovered cases are observed to be concentrated in 10 States\/UTs .<\/p>\n

Maharashtra continues to contribute the maximum with more than 17,000 single day recovery<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

73,272\u00a0<\/strong>new confirmed cases were recorded in last 24 hours.<\/p>\n

79%\u00a0<\/strong>of these\u00a0<\/strong>are from 10 States and UTs. Maharashtra is still reporting a very high number of new cases with more than 12,000 cases followed by Karnataka with nearly 11,000 cases.<\/p>\n

926\u00a0<\/strong>case fatalities have been reported in the past 24 hours. Of these,\u00a0nearly 82%<\/strong>\u00a0are concentrated in ten States\/UTs.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
