\nCivil Surgeon Dr. Adarshpal Kaur directed District health program officers to implement the ongoing health programs and schemes in the district in a better and more effective manner.
\nAddressing a review meeting regarding various state and national health programs and schemes, the Civil Surgeon said that any lapse or negligence in the implementation of any health program and scheme would not be tolerated at all. She said there must be no pendency of any official work. Every official work must be completed on time and its report be sent to the higher authorities. If there is any deficiency in any application or more documents are required, the applicant should be informed in time and ensure that every application is disposed of within the stipulated time. She said that there are clear instructions from the government that strict action would be taken against any officer for negligence or undue delay in his duties and official work.
\nDr. Adarshpal Kaur further said that the health department is fully committed to provide quality and health care services to the people, for which every officer should fulfill his duty and responsibility with full dedication, honesty and dedication. She reviewed various programs and schemes including vaccination, Birth and Death Certificate issuance, free medicines, food security, National Mental Health Program, OOAT Clinic, Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojna, Janani Suraksha Yojana, 108 Ambulance Service, National Vector Borne Disease Control Program.
\nAssistant Civil Surgeon Dr. Renu Singh, Deputy Medical Commissioner Dr. Daljit Singh Pradesi, District Family Planning Officer Dr. Nidhi Kaushal, District Immunization Officer Dr. Girish Dogra, District Health Officer Dr. Subhash Kumar, District Epidemiologist Dr Akshay Kumar, Dr. Vikrant Nagra, Dr Harmandeep Kaur, Accountant Ajay Kumar and other officials were present in the meeting.<\/div>\n
