KARGIL, MAY 30, 2022:<\/strong> The nation is celebrating the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to commemorate the Indian Independence. As a part of this momentous occasion, the Hon\u2019ble Prime Minister will interact with the beneficiaries of about sixteen schemes\/Programmes spanning nine Ministries\/Departments of the Government of India.\u00a0 The list of schemes with whose beneficiaries the Hon\u2019ble Prime Minister will interact is attached.\u00a0 The number of beneficiaries of many of the schemes runs in crores and several cases in tens of crores.<\/p>\n

All these schemes address the poorest segments of the population; therefore, the event is aptly named as \u201cGarib Kalyan Sammelan\u201d.\u00a0 The principal objective of the interaction is not only to understand how these schemes have brought about ease of living for the citizens, but also to explore the possibility of convergence and saturation.\u00a0 This will also give an opportunity to assess the citizens\u2019 aspirations for India as it completes 100 years of independence in the year 2047.<\/p>\n

The Sammelan is one of the largest ever single-event nationwide interaction spanning all districts, wherein Hon\u2019ble Prime Minster will interact with beneficiaries about the impact that the wide-ranging schemes\/programmes covering housing, availability of potable water, food, health and nutrition, livelihood and financial inclusion etc., have had on their lives.\u00a0 These schemes\/programmes are:<\/p>\n

(i)\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Pradhan Mantri AwaasYojana (both Grameen & Urban)<\/p>\n

(ii)\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi<\/p>\n

(iii)\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana<\/p>\n

(iv)\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 POSHAN Abhiyan<\/p>\n

(v)\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana<\/p>\n

(vi)\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Swachh Bharat Mission (both Grameen & Urban)<\/p>\n

(vii)\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Jal Jeevan Mission & AMRUT<\/p>\n

(viii)\u00a0 \u00a0Pradhan Mantri SVANidhi Scheme<\/p>\n

(ix)\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 One Nation One Ration Card<\/p>\n

(x)\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana<\/p>\n

(xi)\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Ayushman Bharat PM Jan ArogyaYojana<\/p>\n

(xii)\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Ayushman Bharat Health and Wellness Centre<\/p>\n

(xiii)\u00a0 \u00a0 Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana<\/p>\n

District Kargil is proud to be a part of this August event and has made all the necessary arrangements for the program to be held at Auditorium Hall Kargil from 10 a.m. onwards. The event will be presided over by Chairman and Chief Executive Councilor (CEC), LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan and will also be attended by dignitaries viz Executive Councilor Aga Syed Mohd Hassan Arman, Executive Councilor Syed Abass Razvi, Executive Councilor Er. Punchok Tashi, Executive Councilor Mohsin Ali, Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Skhadeve, District Officers, BDC Chairpersons, Councilors, PRI Members, Ex-servicemen, family of freedom fighters and civil society organizations besides others.<\/p>\n

The District level event will be linked with the National event at 11.00 A.M. when Hon\u2019ble Prime Minister will be live from Shimla interacting with the beneficiaries with the country.<\/p>\n

The national level Sammelan is being held at Shimla on 31.05.2022 wherein Hon\u2019ble Prime Minister will directly interact with the beneficiaries.\u00a0 Hon\u2019ble Prime Minister will also release the 11th installment of the Kisan Samman Nidhi.\u00a0 Hon\u2019ble Prime Minister will also interact with some of the beneficiaries spread across the country through videoconferencing.<\/p>\n

The national Sammelan will be telecast live through Doordarshan in its national and regional channels.\u00a0 Provisions have also been made to webcast the national programme through MyGov for which people need to register themselves.\u00a0 It can also be viewed through other social media channels viz., YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc.<\/p>\n

It is expected that this interaction will not only highlight the people-centric approach of these schemes leading to ease of living for citizens but will also enlighten the Government on the aspirations of the people and ensure that no one is left behind in the nation\u2019s march to progress.<\/p>\n
