KARGIL, JUNE 17, 2022:<\/strong> On the second day of tour to Sub Division Shakar Chiktan, Executive Councilor Health, Agriculture, Forest and Wildlife, LAHDC, Kargil Mohsin Ali today attended the annual parent meeting at Govt. Higher Secondary School Chiktan.<\/p>\n

Sub Divisional level officers of Chiktan, Nambardar Chiktan, Sarpanch Chiktan, VEC members, Principal and staff of the Higher Secondary School besides a huge number of parents and students attended the function. The students of the institution presented a cultural program that enthralled the audience.<\/p>\n

EC Mohsin, who was the chief guest on the occasion, in his speech congratulated the Principal and staff members of the school for organizing such a program. He also thanked the VEC members and parents for attending the program in the interest of their children.<\/p>\n

The Executive Councilor also informed that a bus to pick and drop the students has already been provided to the institution by the LAHDC, Kargil. He also assured to provide a public address system out of the Councilor Constituency Development Fund within two days.<\/p>\n

He further informed that LAHDC Kargil under the leadership of Chairman and CEC Feroz Ahmed Khan is committed to uplifting the educational standard in the district.<\/p>\n

The EC said education is a priority sector for LAHDC saying that during the current year innovative proposals have been listed under the subsidy component for the Education Department.<\/p>\n

Earlier, the Principal gave a presentation on work done during the previous year and the proposal to be carried out during the current year for the betterment of the institution and students.<\/p>\n

On the occasion, some VEC members and parents also gave their suggestions for upliftment of the educational standard of the students.<\/p>\n
