adjoining Northeast Arabian Sea<\/h2>\n<p>New Delhi, October 17<\/p>\n<p><strong>According to the Cyclone Warning Division of the India Meteorological Department (IMD):\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The well-marked low pressure area over East Central &amp; adjoining Northeast Arabian off South Gujarat coast moved west-northwestwards and lay centered over\u00a0<strong>East Central &amp; adjoining Northeast Arabian Sea\u00a0<\/strong>at 0530 hrs IST of today, the 17<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0October 2020.<\/p>\n<p>It is very likely to move further west-northwestwards and concentrate into a Depression over eastcentral &amp; adjoining northeast Arabian Sea during next 12 hours.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Warnings:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>(i) Rainfall<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Light to moderate rainfall at a few places very likely over coastal Districts of Saurashtra during next 24 hours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0(ii) Wind warning<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph gusting to 60 kmph likely to prevail over east central and adjoining northeast Arabian Sea during next 12 hours; 25-35 kmph gusting to 45 kmph along &amp; off south Gujarat and north Maharashtra coasts during next 24 hours.<\/li>\n<li>It would increase, becoming Squally wind speed reaching 45-55 kmph gusting to 65 kmph over east central and northeast Arabian Sea from 17<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0October evening and over central and adjoining northwest Arabian Sea on 18<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0October.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>(iii) Sea condition<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sea condition will be rough to very rough over eastcentral &amp; adjoining northeast Arabian Sea on 17<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0October and over central and northwest Arabian Sea on 18<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0October<strong>;\u00a0<\/strong>rough along &amp; off south Gujarat and north Maharashtra coasts on 17<sup>th\u00a0<\/sup>October.<\/p>\n<p><strong>(iv)\u00a0 Fishermen Warning<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Fishermen are advised not to venture into eastcentral &amp;
