He urged students to take part in different sports on regular basis.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">Incharge Principal Prof. Mumtaz Ahmad encouraged students to participate and take advantage of various opportunities provided by the government in sports sector. He also thanked the college\u2019s Director of Physical Education for organizing the event.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">Irfan Ahmad Bhat, Assistant Professor of Mathematics, also briefed the students about importance of the sports day and highlighted role of Major Dhyan Chand in the field of sports.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">Mujeeb President Students&#8217; Council GDC Drass also spoke on the occasion and briefed students on how they can take sports as a career option.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">The department of Physical Education organized different sports events such as table tennis for faculty, boys and girls and cricket (Tennis) for boys as part of the program.
