He emphasized on the \u201cplantation of plants\u201d, \u201csay no plastics\u201d and \u201csave water\u201d as anyone cannot imagine their lives without these three attributes. He also discussed some tragedies that have happened in India due to the mismanagement of natural sources in last 20 years. Professor GR Chaudhary, Honorary Director Sophisticated Analytical Instrumentation Facility, CIL and UCIM, discussed his\u00a0 patented ideas\/innovation which are ready to be commercialized. He suggested as to\u00a0 how technologies developed at academic level can be transferred to the industry if scaled up. Prof Vasundhara Singh, from Punjab Engineering College (PEC), Chandigarh, also shared her developed technologies which are eco-friendly and could be commercialized to pharmaceutical industries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the end, Prof. Manu, Coordinator, TEC, Panjab University, Dr. Rajeev Kumar, Chairperson, Department of Environment Studies, Prof. Ashu Khosla, Chairperson, Department of Geology and Prof. Gourav Kalotra, Chairperson, Department of Geography expressed their sincere gratitude to Shri Rakesh Jain Ji for his presence and delivering valuable lecture on this sensitive area.Dr. Mahesh Thakur, Dr. Vishwa Singh Bandhu and Dr. Dinesh Kumar were the coordinators of the event.
