Education Department organizes UT level Science Seminar in Kargil\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n

Kargil, September 30, 2022:<\/div>\n

Directorate of School Education UT Ladakh in collaboration with National Science Center Delhi today organized a UT-level Science Seminar 2022 under the theme “Basic Science for Sustainable Development Challenges and Prospectus” here at Auditorium Hall Kargil.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
On the occasion, Director School Education Ladakh, Dr Safdar Ali was the chief guest while Joint Director Information Department UT Ladakh Imteeaz Kacho was the guest of honor. Chief Education Officer Kargil Mushtaq Ahmed, judges from GDC Kargil and Drass, participants, and large number of students were present.<\/div>\n

Speaking on the occasion,\u00a0 the Director of School Education appreciated the efforts of students and teachers for presenting their insightful presentations on the given theme.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
He also appreciated the awareness and knowledge the students possess adding that there is a need to protect the environment.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Dr Safdar advised students to practically implement the knowledge in their surroundings in small steps and also make people aware of the importance of a clean environment and sustainable development.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
He also said that school education will organize more such programs in the future in order to give exposure to the students.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The Joint Director of Information hailed the efforts of the Education Department UT Ladakh for organizing such important programs for the students.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
He also appreciated the modern techniques of education and teaching being provided to students of government schools to make the learning process more interesting.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
He said students of government schools in Ladakh are showing the path to private schools in the field of excellence and knowledge.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Earlier, students from different schools in Ladakh presented their presentations on the theme. Later, mementos and certificates of participation were distributed among the position holders and participants.<\/div>\n
