The active cases are less than 7 lakh for the second consecutive day and stand at\u00a0<strong>6,80,680.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The active cases now comprise only\u00a0<strong>8.71%\u00a0<\/strong>of the total positive cases of the country.<\/p>\n<p>The active cases are on a continuous decline on a daily basis. This is a result of the successful TEST, TREAT, and TRACK strategy of the Union Government implemented by the \u00a0States\/UTs.<\/p>\n<p>The change in the active cases across the States and UTs has been varied, indicating different stages in their fight against the global pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>There has been a progressive dip in the day-on-day active cases during the past few weeks.<\/p>\n<p>The declining trend of the active cases is complemented by the unbroken rising number of recovered cases. The total recovered cases have crossed the 70 lakh mark and stand at\u00a0<strong>70,16,046<\/strong>. The national Recovery Rate has further improved to\u00a0<strong>89.78%.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>61%<\/strong>\u00a0of the Total Recovered Cases are from 6 States\/UT viz. Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi.<\/p>\n<p>New recoveries have exceeded new cases in the recent days<strong>. 67,549\u00a0<\/strong>COVID patients<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>have recovered and discharged in the last 24 hours whereas the new confirmed cases stand at\u00a0<strong>\u00a053,370.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>77%<\/strong>\u00a0of the new recovered cases are observed to be concentrated in 10 States\/UTs.<\/p>\n<p>Maharashtra has contributed the maximum with more than 13,000 single day recovery.<\/p>\n<p><strong>53,370\u00a0<\/strong>new confirmed cases were recorded in the last 24 hours.\u00a0<strong>80% of the new cases<\/strong>\u00a0are from 10 States and UTs.<\/p>\n<p>Kerala is reporting the maximum addition with more than 8,000 cases followed by Maharashtra with more than 7,000 cases.<\/p>\n<p><strong>650\u00a0<\/strong>case fatalities have been reported in the past 24 hours.<\/p>\n<p>Of these, ten States\/UTs account for<strong>\u00a0nearly 80%<\/strong>. \u00a0Maharashtra has reported maximum with 184 deaths.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u0915\u094d\u0937\u092e\u093e \u0915\u0930\u0947\u0902, \u092f\u0939 \u0938\u092e\u093e\u091a\u093e\u0930 \u0906\u092a\u0915\u0947 \u0905\u0928\u0941\u0930\u094b\u0927 \u0915\u0940 \u092d\u093e\u0937\u093e \u092e\u0947\u0902 \u0909\u092a\u0932\u092c\u094d\u0927 \u0928\u0939\u0940\u0902 \u0939\u0948\u0964 \u0915\u0943\u092a\u092f\u093e \u092f\u0939\u093e\u0901 \u0926\u0947\u0916\u0947\u0902\u0964 Covid Update: India continues to maintain Active Cases below 7 lakh for the Second Day New Delhi, October 24 India continues to report a trend of steadily declining active cases.
