The PLP was launched at District Consultative Committee at Gurdaspur. This PLP document covers the potential credit areas for the year 2023-24 under the Priority sector.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Additional\u00a0Deputy Commissioner stressed on diversification of lending portfolio by the banks in order to promote new avenues in farming and allied sectors. The bankers were advised to pass on the benefits of various schemes of GoI and GoP to the beneficiaries.\u00a0 Bankers were guided to focus on MSME sector and promote new entrepreneurs under various Government schemes as it plays crucial role in welfare of the district.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">NABARD District Development Manager Shri Jaskirat Singh informed that agriculture credit should\u00a0 increase\u00a0 under\u00a0 investment\u00a0 credit\u00a0 so\u00a0 that\u00a0 capital\u00a0 formation\u00a0 in agriculture sector can take place.
