{"id":168775,"date":"2022-12-16T18:16:28","date_gmt":"2022-12-16T12:46:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsmakhani.com\/?p=168775"},"modified":"2022-12-16T18:17:49","modified_gmt":"2022-12-16T12:47:49","slug":"cec-kargil-reviews-concept-report-of-24-7-water-supply-scheme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsnarad.com\/hi\/cec-kargil-reviews-concept-report-of-24-7-water-supply-scheme\/","title":{"rendered":"CEC Kargil reviews concept report of 24\/7 water supply scheme"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"qtranxs-available-languages-message qtranxs-available-languages-message-hi\">\u0915\u094d\u0937\u092e\u093e \u0915\u0930\u0947\u0902, \u092f\u0939 \u0938\u092e\u093e\u091a\u093e\u0930 \u0906\u092a\u0915\u0947 \u0905\u0928\u0941\u0930\u094b\u0927 \u0915\u0940 \u092d\u093e\u0937\u093e \u092e\u0947\u0902 \u0909\u092a\u0932\u092c\u094d\u0927 \u0928\u0939\u0940\u0902 \u0939\u0948\u0964 <a href=\"https:\/\/newsmakhani.com\/en\/\">\u0915\u0943\u092a\u092f\u093e \u092f\u0939\u093e\u0901 \u0926\u0947\u0916\u0947\u0902\u0964<\/a><\/p><p><\/p>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Kargil, Dec 16, 2022:<\/strong> Chairman\/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, Feroz Ahmad Khan today chaired a review meeting regarding the concept report of 24\/7 water supply scheme in urban areas of Kargil and additional area comprising Kurbathang plateau.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">Deputy Commissioner\/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil, Santosh Sukhadeve, Councilor Kargil Town, Councilor Poyen, Councilor Minjee\/Baroo, Superintending Engineer, PHE, I&amp;FC Kargil, Vice President, MC Kargil, Executive Engineer, PHE Kargil, Executive Officer, MC Kargil and Consultant attended the meeting.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">At the outset, the CEC reviewed the concept report of 24\/7 water supply for Kargil Town from two main water source comprising Suru River and Drass River.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">On the occasion, the Consultant presented the presentation that included three major components: project population for the years 2025, 2040 and 2055, three alternatives conceptualized for providing 24\/7 water supply and capital cost as well as O&amp;M.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">The consultant explained the three alternatives (of the second component) which include development of additional source in Drass River to cover entire project area except zone 4 which would be covered by existing WTP, two additional source one in Drass River and another in Suru River covering the zones 1, 2, 3 and 5, 6, 7, 8 respectively and the third alternative consisted further improvement of second alternative.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">During the meeting, the alternatives presented by consultant were discussed in detail.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">The CEC directed the consultant and the concerned department to modify the third alternative considering the zones 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 to be covered by source in Drass River while as zone 4, 7 and 8 to be covered by source in Suru River.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">Khan further directed the consultant to proceed with preparation of DPR as per third alternative at the earliest so that the project execution work could be started early during 2023-24.
