He explained the impact of oral health on overall health and the role of a balanced diet in maintaining a good health and hygiene.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">During the program, oral health care awareness and screening was conducted for children where they were taught about brushing techniques and other oral hygiene instructions.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">He also summarised the harmful effects of tobacco on oral health and overall health. The students enthusiastically participated in the event by getting answers to their queries regarding oral health from the doctors. They were also screened.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">World Oral Health Day was launched on March 20, 2013 by FDI World Dental Federation. The day also marks the launch of a year-long campaign to raise awareness of oral health and the prevention of oral diseases.
