Those arrested have been identified as Ankit @ Ankit Rana r\/o Sultanpur PS Chandimandir and Harpreet Singh @ Makhan r\/o Safedipur, PS Sadar Patiala. During the search of both, two pistols of .32 Bore along with 06 live cartridges were recovered from Ankit, while a pistol of .32 Bore along with 04 live cartridges was recovered from Harpreet Singh.<\/p>\n<p>A case u\/s 25 of the Arms Act has been registered at PS Balongi for further investigation.<\/p>\n<p>SSP further said that from the preliminary investigation, it has been revealed that both were here to commit a crime. On further interrogation, the accused persons confessed that the Splendor Motorcycle, on which they were travelling, was used in a shoot-out on Sahil in Derabassi on December 06, 2023. The motorcycle belongs to the already arrested accused in the Derabassi case identified as Rajwinder Singh<span class=\"gmail_default\">\u00a0<\/span>Sunny and has been registered in the name of his mother.
