Revenue Work Gets Momentum in the district<\/p>\n

In order to expedite the revenue related works in the district, today, 14 Revenue Patwaris joined the district thus the total number rose to 111.Divulging the details, the Deputy Commisioner Mrs Aashika Jain while inducting the new entrants in the district’s revenue services, welcomed them formally and asserted to work diligently.<\/p>\n

She said that the district has a total sanction of 136 Revenue Patwaris on field and 5 at District Head Quarter. With the insertion of 14 New Patwaris the figure has increased to 111 which is sufficient to operate the revenue department services in the district. Earlier, the district had 85 regular and 12 re-employed (contractual) Revenue Patwaris.<\/p>\n

The Deputy Commisioner said that the new entrants have been entrusted with the task of two revenue patwar circles each. She expressed hope that the induction of new entrants would definitely facilitate the common people besides strengthening the revenue offices in the district by helping to clear the pending works too.<\/p>\n

The Deputy Commisioner further said that as the Revenue records help in all works related to sub registrar and tehsil offices so the new Patwaris would lesser the pain of common people by delivering their works in time.<\/h5>\n
Directing the new Patwaris to work with utmost dedication and honesty, she said that no body would be spared in case of any negligence or harassment to the public. As the Patwaris have to report on the majority of the citizen centric services so they should work more precisely to speed up the process of delivery of services, she added.<\/h5>\n
District Revenue Officer Amandeep Chawla was also present in the meeting.<\/h5>\n
