Executive Councilors Kacho Mohd Feroz and Zakir Hussain, LAHDC Kargil today distributed free tablets with pre-loaded educational content to students who were previously not included, as part of YounTab Scheme of Department of Education UT Ladakh.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Chief Education Officer Kargil, SD Namgyail, along with teachers and students from adjoining schools, graced the ceremony with their presence.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Speaking at the event, EC Feroz expressed gratitude to the UT Education Department Ladakh for launching the scheme for Kargil students. He emphasized the importance of students maximizing their use of tabs to improve education and enhance their skills.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
He also commended the efforts of LAHDC Kargil for launching the winter remedial coaching classes for students. Furthermore, he assured that the success of this year’s board exams would determine the replication of this model in the following year.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The EC stated that LAHDC is dedicated to enhancing the quality of education in Kargil and pledged full support to the education sector.<\/div>\n

EC Zakir welcomed the new CEO Kargil on behalf of LAHDC Kargil and expressed optimism for the responsible role of the CEO for upliftment of education in Kargil.<\/div>\n

Zakir congratulated students for getting new tabs. He also reiterated the role of teachers in education system and requested them to be proactive enhancing the education system.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
He also requested students to make optimum use of tablets. Pertinently, a total of 760 tabs will be distributed among the left-out students of various schools of the district.<\/div>\n

The YounTab scheme is an initiative of the Department of School Education with technical support by the Information Technology Department.<\/div>\n
