Covid Update: India\u2019s Active Caseload drops below 4.85 Lakhs<\/span><\/h2>\n

New Delhi, November 13<\/p>\n

India\u2019s active cases today stand at\u00a04,84,547,\u00a0<\/strong>much below the 5-lakh mark. This is the third day of the active cases being sustained below the 5-L mark. Their share in the total Positive Cases stands at only\u00a05.55%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This has been made possible by the trend of recoveries exceeding new cases which has ensured a total net reduction of the Active Caseload.<\/p>\n

In contrast to\u00a044,879\u00a0<\/strong>new reported cases,\u00a049,079\u00a0<\/strong>cases have recovered in the last 24 hours which continues India\u2019s trend of having daily high recoveries that outnumber the daily new cases. This trend has been observed for the 41st day today.<\/p>\n

The total recovered cases stand at\u00a081,15,580\u00a0<\/strong>which translates to a Recovery Rate of\u00a092.97%<\/strong>. The gap between Recovered cases and Active cases continues to grow and presently stands at\u00a076,31,033<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

77.83%<\/strong>\u00a0of the new recovered cases are observed to be concentrated in 10 States\/UTs.<\/p>\n

Maharashtra reported the maximum number of single day recoveries.\u00a07,809 new recoveries have pushed up the State\u2019s total recoveries to\u00a016,05,064.<\/p>\n

76.25%<\/strong>\u00a0of the new cases\u00a0are concentrated in 10 States and UTs.<\/p>\n

Delhi reported the maximum daily new cases numbering 7,053 in the last 24 hours. Kerala recorded 5,537 new cases while Maharashtra reported 4,496 new cases yesterday.<\/p>\n

Ten States\/UTs account for\u00a0about 80% (79.34%)\u00a0<\/strong>of the\u00a0547 <\/strong>case fatalities have been reported in the past 24 hours.<\/p>\n

22.3%<\/strong>\u00a0of new fatalities reported are from Maharashtra which reported 122 deaths. Delhi and West Bengal follow with 104 and 54 new deaths, respectively.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
