He responded to a faction attempting to destabilise the historic Sikh party.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The world is aware of the BJP\u2019s tactics to merge or acquire opposition groups and state governments led by non-BJP parties,&#8221; Sarna remarked. &#8220;Those who passed an anti Akali resolution have exposed themselves in Punjab, which has wholly rejected the saffron ideology.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Sarna vowed that no BJP effort to saffronize the Shiromani Akali Dal, a party rooted in Sikh martyrdom, would be allowed to succeed.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Sikh community is very well aware of the pro-BJP stance of those trying to seize control of the Shiromani Akali Dal.
