Mohd Sultan, incharge Narcotics, further elaborated on the COTPA Act and the Prohibition of Smoking in Public Places Rules of 2008.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">A representative from the State Taxes Department provided insights into the Goods and Services Tax (GST) applicable to tobacco products, underscoring the financial implications of tobacco sales.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">Throughout the discussions, SSP Kargil addressed concerns raised by participants and reinforced the crucial message that no tobacco products should be sold to minors under the age of 18 or within 100 yards of educational institutions.
