Otherwise, the MC will be held responsible for derelication in duty for turning blind eye to the encroachment\/illegal construction.<\/p>\n<p>The Deputy Commissioner made it clear that the encroachments and illegal constructions may cause a serious problem to the general public in future besides a setback to state revenue by illegal occupation of government land or not paying the notified fee for drawings.<\/p>\n<p>She directed the Municipal to get the police help besides appointing a district magistrate from Sub Divisional Magistrate to get the encroachment vacated and take action against the illegal constructions. She said that some of the land of the pond that has been encouraged upon, should be converted to park or play ground after getting vacated, in Lalru.<\/p>\n<p>The Deputy Commissioner said that the
