Auction for Sale (Re-issue)<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

Government of India (GoI) has announced the Sale (Re-issue) of (i) \u20184.48% Government Security, 2023\u2019 for a amount of Rs <\/strong>6,000 crore<\/strong>\u00a0(nominal) through\u00a0price based auction<\/u>, (ii) \u2018GoI Floating Rate Bonds, 2033\u2019 for a notified amount of\u00a0Rs <\/strong>2,000 crore<\/strong>\u00a0(nominal) through\u00a0price based auction,<\/u>\u00a0(iii) \u20186.22% Government Security, 2035\u2019 for a notified amount of\u00a0Rs<\/strong>9,000 crore<\/strong>\u00a0(nominal) through\u00a0price based auction<\/u>, and (iv) \u20186.67%\u00a0 Government Security, 2050\u2019 for a notified amount of\u00a0Rs <\/strong>5,000 crore<\/strong>\u00a0(nominal) through\u00a0price based auction<\/u>. GoI will have the option to retain additional subscription up to\u00a0Rs <\/strong>2,000 crore<\/strong>\u00a0against each of the above securities. The auctions will be conducted by the Reserve Bank of India, Mumbai Office, Fort, Mumbai on\u00a0December 04<\/strong>, 2020 (Friday) using\u00a0multiple price<\/u>\u00a0method<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Up to 5% of the notified amount of the sale of the securities will be given to eligible individuals and Institutions as per the Scheme for Non Competitive Bidding Facility in the Auction of Government Securities.<\/p>\n

Both competitive and non competitive bids for the auction should be submitted in electronic format on the Reserve Bank of India Core Banking Solution (E-Kuber) system on December 04,<\/strong>\u00a02020<\/strong>. The non competitive bids should be submitted between 12.00 Noon and 12.30 p.m and the competitive bids should be submitted between 12.00 Noon and 01.00 p.m. The result of the auctions are going to be announced on December 04,<\/strong>\u00a02020 (Friday)\u00a0<\/strong>and payment by successful bidders will be on\u00a0December 07,<\/strong>\u00a02020 (Monday)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Securities will be eligible for \u201cWhen Issued\u201d trading in accordance with the guidelines on\u00a0\u2018When Issued transactions in Central Government Securities\u2019\u00a0<\/strong>issued by the Reserve Bank of India vide circular No. RBI\/2018-19\/25 dated July 24, 2018 as amended from time to time.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
