Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir, under the leadership of its President Sat Sharma (CA), held an organizational meeting at Mahanpur in Basohli to review the ongoing activities and future roadmap of the Atma Nirbhar Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan.<\/p>\n

The meeting was attended by General Secretaries Baldev Singh Billawaria and Gopal Mahajan, District President Gopal Krishan, MLA Basohli Darshan Singh, DDC members Narain Dutt Tripathi, Vikram Singh, Tejinder Goldy, leaders Sanjeev, Romi Khajuria, besides several senior functionaries and party workers.<\/p>\n

Addressing the meeting, Sat Sharma called upon the party leaders and cadre to transform the Atma Nirbhar Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan into a mass movement. He said the campaign, launched on September 25 on the birth anniversary of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay, will culminate on December 25, the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee.<\/p>\n

Highlighting the core focus of the Abhiyan, Sharma said that \u201cVocal for Local\u201d is the bedrock of India\u2019s journey towards true self-reliance. He asserted that the movement draws its strength from villages, farmers, women, youth, and the poor, and is an extension of decentralization and Swadeshi as advocated by Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay.<\/p>\n

Sat Sharma emphasized that every citizen must contribute to the mission by adopting Swadeshi in daily life, maximizing the use of local products. He underlined that the party cadre has been tasked to reach every household in the coming three months to make the campaign a true people\u2019s movement.<\/p>\n

During the organizational discussions, Sharma called for a collective resolve to intensify organizational activities, maximize public outreach, and ensure that the implementation of public welfare schemes initiated by the Modi government.<\/p>\n

Gopal Krishan reported that the Abhiyan has infused new energy among grassroots workers. He deliberated on strengthening booth-level committees to mobilize wider participation, ensuring that the message of Atma Nirbharta reaches every village and urban ward.<\/p>\n

Darshan Singh termed it a golden opportunity for farmers and youth to actively participate in India\u2019s economic resurgence. He said that the GST reforms introduced by the Union Government would serve as a major boost to indigenous businesses and promote domestic production, aligning with the spirit of self-reliance.<\/p>\n
