BJP national general secretary & Prabhari J&K BJP Tarun Chugh today strongly condemned the sacrilegious act at a gurudwara and reaffirmed the BJP\u2019s commitment to uphold religious sanctity of all devotees.<\/p>\n

He said no true Sikh can bring ignominy to Shri Guru Granth sahib ji, but this incident calls for an intense investigation to make sure that disruptive forces don\u2019t get a free hand.<\/p>\n

He said that the BJP stands shoulder to shoulder with the Sikh community but there is a need for a deep Investigation into the incident to ascertain if the ISI forces are surreptitiously at work.<\/p>\n

He said the unfortunate incident has deeply hurt the sentiments of the Sikh community, calling it a shameful and unacceptable act that has no place in a civilized society.<\/p>\n

\u201cBJP condemns this incident in the harshest terms. Any act that disrespects the sacred symbols of faith is not just an insult to a community, but to the soul of our nation,\u201d said Chugh, who was in Jammu for the BJP Core Committee meetings.<\/p>\n

He said the Bharatiya Janata Party stands rock solid with our Sikh brothers and sisters in this moment of pain and anguish. \u201cThose responsible will face the strictest possible action. The law will act swiftly, and the guilty will not be spared under any circumstances,\u201d Chugh asserted.<\/p>\n

Appealing to the community to maintain peace and harmony, he said, \u201cThe Sikh community has always stood for courage, compassion, and sacrifice. I urge our elders and youth to uphold these values even in this hour of hurt. The BJP holds Guru Granth Sahib Ji in the highest reverence \u2014 the teachings of the Gurus guide our party\u2019s spirit of unity, equality, and service to humanity.\u201d<\/p>\n

To ensure that justice is delivered without delay, Chugh announced the formation of a high-level committee under Dr. Narinder Singh, BJP National Secretary and MLA, to visit the ground, meet community representatives, and submit a detailed report for immediate and decisive follow-up action.<\/p>\n

Reiterating BJP\u2019s unwavering commitment, Tarun Chugh declared:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will not allow anyone to disturb the peace and harmony of Jammu and Kashmir. BJP will leave no stone unturned to restore respect, justice, and communal brotherhood.\u201d<\/p>\n
