32 Lakh Vaccine Doses reported in the last 24 hours<\/p>\n

The cumulative number of COVID vaccine doses administered in the country has crossed 12.71 Cr\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>today as part of the world\u2019s largest vaccination drive. Cumulatively, 12,71,29,113\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>vaccine doses (10,96,59,181 1st<\/sup>\u00a0doses and 1,74,69,932 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0doses) have been administered through 18,83,241 sessions, as per the provisional report till 7 am today. These include\u00a091,70,717\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>HCWs who have taken the 1st dose and\u00a057,67,657\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>HCWs who have taken the 2nd dose,\u00a01,14,32,732\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>FLWs (1st<\/sup>dose),\u00a056,86,608\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>FLWs (2nd<\/sup>dose), 4,66,82,963<\/strong><\/b>1st<\/sup>\u00a0dose beneficiaries and\u00a047,04,601\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>2nd<\/sup>\u00a0dose beneficiaries more than 60 years old and\u00a04,23,72,769\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>(1st<\/sup>\u00a0dose) and\u00a013,11,066\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>(2nd<\/sup>\u00a0dose) beneficiaries aged 45 to 60 years.<\/p>\n

Over 32 lakh vaccination doses were administered in the last 24 hours. <\/strong><\/b>As on Day 94 of the vaccination drive (19th<\/sup>\u00a0April, 2021),\u00a032,76,555\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>vaccine doses were given. 22,87,419 beneficiaries were vaccinated across 45,856 sessions for 1st<\/sup>\u00a0dose and 9,89,136 beneficiaries received 2nd<\/sup> dose of vaccine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

India\u2019s daily news cases are showing a rising trend. 2,59,170 <\/strong><\/b>new cases were registered in the last 24 hours. 10 States including Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Karnataka, Kerala, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Rajasthan report 77.67%\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>of the new cases. Maharashtra has reported the highest daily new cases at 58,924. It is followed by Uttar Pradesh with 28,211 while Delhi reported 23,686 new cases. 20 states, as shown under, are displaying an upward trajectory in daily new cases. India\u2019s total Active Caseload has reached 20,31,977<\/strong><\/b>. It now comprises\u00a013.26%<\/strong><\/b>\u00a0of the country’s total Positive Cases. A net incline of\u00a01,02,648<\/strong><\/b>\u00a0cases recorded from the total active caseload in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n

The 5 States of Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala cumulatively account for 62.07%<\/strong><\/b> of India\u2019s total Active Cases. The daily positivity rate<\/strong><\/b>\u00a0(7 day moving average) continues to show an upward trend, currently stands at\u00a015.99%.<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

India\u2019s cumulative recoveries stand at\u00a01,31,08,582<\/strong><\/b>\u00a0today. The National Recovery Rate is\u00a085.56%. <\/strong><\/b>1,54,761<\/strong><\/b> recoveries were registered in the last 24 hours. The National Mortality Rate has been falling and currently stands at 1.18%. <\/strong><\/b>1,761<\/strong><\/b> deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. 10 States account for 82.74%\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>of the new deaths. Maharashtra saw the maximum casualties (351). Delhi follows with 240 daily deaths.<\/p>\n
