Pledges to usher in new era of development in the district<\/strong><\/div>\n
PULWAMA, APRIL 24<\/strong>: The District Development Council (DDC) Chairman Pulwama, Syed Bari Andrabi along with other members today held an interactive meeting with senior officers at DC office here.<\/div>\n
The Additional District Development Commissioner, Ex. Engineers R&B, PHE and PDD were present on the occasion.<\/div>\n
Interacting with the officers, Syed Bari said people have a lot of expectations from the council vis-\u00e0-vis development and prosperity of the district and sought cooperation of line departments to fulfill the same. He also pledged to work and priortise the things from the grassroots for smooth implementation of developmental and welfare schemes.<\/div>\n
He said that they are committed to usher in a new era of development for the district.<\/div>\n
On the occasion, ADDC Pulwama, assured full cooperation and support to the council for achieving new heights of development in the district.<\/div>\n
He also expressed full commitment for strengthening the Panchayat Raj Institution and empowering the people at grassroots level. He said that DDC members are eyes and ears of Administration and people have reposed faith upon them for embarking the ladder of development and prosperity<\/div>\n
With smooth coordination between the District Development Council and the administration, the district will witness new heights of socio-economic prosperity and development, he remarked.<\/div>\n
During the proceedings, threadbare discussions were held for working out the ways and methods for ensuring the plans formulated at the local level culminates smoothly.<\/div>\n
