The Liberalized and Accelerated Phase-3 Strategy of Covid-19 Vaccination has come into force from 1st May 2021. The cumulative number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in the country has crossed\u00a015.89 Cr\u00a0<\/strong>today.<\/p>\n

4,06,339\u00a0<\/strong>beneficiaries of the age group 18-44 years received their first dose of COVID vaccine across 12 States\/UT. These are Chhattisgarh (1025), Delhi (40,028), Gujarat (1,08,191), Haryana (55,565), Jammu and Kashmir (5,587), Karnataka (2,353), Maharashtra (73,714), Odisha (6,802), Punjab (635), Rajasthan (76,151), Tamil Nadu (2,744) and Uttar Pradesh (33,544).<\/p>\n

Cumulatively,\u00a015,89,32,921\u00a0<\/strong>vaccine doses have been administered through 23,35,822sessions so far, as per the provisional report till 7 am today. These include\u00a094,48,289\u00a0<\/strong>Healthcare Workers (HCWs) who have taken the 1st dose and\u00a062,97,900\u00a0<\/strong>HCWs who have taken the 2nd dose\u00a01,35,05,877\u00a0<\/strong>Frontline Workers (FLWs) (1st<\/sup>\u00a0dose),\u00a072,66,380\u00a0<\/strong>FLWs (2nd<\/sup>\u00a0dose),\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a04,06,339\u00a0<\/strong>for 18-44 years of age group (1st<\/sup>\u00a0dose).\u00a05,30,50,669\u00a0<\/strong>for over 45 years old to 60 years old (1st<\/sup>\u00a0Dose),\u00a041,42,786\u00a0<\/strong>for over 45 years old to 60 years old (2nd<\/sup>\u00a0dose),\u00a05,28,16,238\u00a0<\/strong>for above 60 years (1st<\/sup>\u00a0Dose) and\u00a01,19,98,443\u00a0<\/strong>for above 60 years (2nd<\/sup>\u00a0Dose).<\/p>\n

Across 12,739 sessions, 8,38,343 beneficiaries were vaccinated for 1st<\/sup>\u00a0dose and 8,70,047 beneficiaries received 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0dose of vaccine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The\u00a0National Recovery Rate is\u00a081.91%\u00a0<\/strong>with\u00a03,20,289\u00a0<\/strong>recoveries being reported in the last 24 hours.Ten\u00a0<\/strong>states account for\u00a073.14%\u00a0<\/strong>of the new recoveries.<\/p>\n

India\u2019s daily tests conducted is shown below and daily positivity rate now stands at\u00a021.47%<\/strong><\/p>\n

3,57,229\u00a0<\/strong>new cases were registered in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n

Ten states including Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh reported\u00a071.71%\u00a0<\/strong>of the new cases.<\/p>\n

Maharashtra has reported the highest daily new cases at\u00a048,621<\/strong>. It is followed by Karnataka with\u00a044,438\u00a0<\/strong>while Uttar Pradesh reported\u00a029,052\u00a0<\/strong>new cases.<\/p>\n

India\u2019s total Active Caseload has reached\u00a034,47,133<\/strong>. It now comprises\u00a017.00%\u00a0<\/strong>of the country’s total Positive Cases. A net incline of\u00a033,491<\/strong>cases recorded from the total active caseload in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n

Twelve\u00a0<\/strong>States including Maharashtra, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Bihar and Haryana cumulatively account for\u00a081.41%\u00a0<\/strong>of India\u2019s total Active Cases.<\/p>\n

Each of them also comprises more than 1 lakh active cases.The National Mortality Rate has been falling and currently stands at 1.10%\u00a0<\/strong>which is continuously declining.<\/p>\n

3,449\u00a0<\/strong>deaths were reported in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n

TenStates account for\u00a073.15%\u00a0<\/strong>of the new deaths.
