\u2018223 patients discharged in one day\u2019<\/strong><\/div>\n
RAJOURI, MAY 21, 2021:<\/strong> Recovery rate has shown a considerable improvement in Rajouri with 223 patients fully recovering on Friday.<\/div>\n
\u00a0The continuous rising recovery rate and progressively falling active cases of coronavirus infection have proven the success of Covid-19 containment strategy in Rajouri district.<\/div>\n
With the surge in the positive cases in the district, the District Administration Rajouri\u00a0 \u00a0scaled up its required facilities and has been utilising all its available resources to mitigate the pandemic in the district.<\/div>\n
All possible measures including vaccination drive, ensuring 24\/7 medical oxygen supply, positive Covid patients management, bedding capacity, sample collection, testing at the entry points to the district, health audit by Swasthya Nidhi App and other steps were taken to ensure the efficient containment and management of COVID19 in the district.<\/div>\n
At present, the total bed capacity of the district is 350\u00a0 of which only 01 stands occupied and rest are vacant. There are 8778 positive Covid patients in the district of which 3376 are active positive cases and the rest have recovered.<\/div>\n
The timely restrictions imposed and early detection of coronavirus cases proved key to the high recovery rate in the district.<\/div>\n
About 56.62 percent persons above the age of forty five years have been vaccinated in the district till date and concrete measures are being taken to ensure the centpercent coverage of the targeted population.<\/div>\n
It was a happy moment for the recovered Covid patients who went back to their home as well as a satisfactory moment for the medical staff who worked tirelessly and selflessly for the welfare of these patients.<\/div>\n
The recovered patients have also appreciated the district administration for its efforts to mitigate their sufferings by providing them with all the basic facilities during their temporary stay in GMC&AH Rajouri.<\/div>\n
