India has crossed a significant landmark in its fight against COVID19 pandemic today. The country has administered more than\u00a01 Cr (<\/strong>1,06,21,235)<\/strong>\u00a0Vaccine Doses for 18-44 age group under Phase-3 of Vaccination Drive.\u00a0Vaccination is an integral pillar of the comprehensive strategy of Government of India for containment and management of the pandemic, along with Test, Track, Treat and COVID Appropriate Behaviour. Implementation of the Liberalized and Accelerated Phase-3 Strategy of Covid-19 Vaccination has started from 1st May 2021<\/p>\n

The cumulative number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in the country exceeded\u00a019.60 Cr\u00a0<\/strong>today under the Phase-3 of the nationwide Vaccination Drive.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A total of\u00a019,60,51,962\u00a0<\/strong>vaccine doses have been administered through 28,16,725 sessions, as per the provisional report till 7 am today. These include\u00a097,60,444\u00a0<\/strong>HCWs who have taken the 1st<\/sup>\u00a0dose and\u00a067,06,890\u00a0<\/strong>HCWs who have taken the 2nd<\/sup>dose,\u00a01,49,91,357\u00a0<\/strong>FLWs (1st<\/sup>dose),\u00a083,33,774\u00a0<\/strong>FLWs (2nd<\/sup>dose),\u00a01,06,21,235\u00a0<\/strong>beneficiaries under 18-44 age group (1st<\/sup>dose),\u00a06,09,11,756\u00a0<\/strong>(1st<\/sup>dose) and\u00a098,18,384\u00a0<\/strong>(2nd<\/sup>\u00a0dose) beneficiaries aged 45 to 60 years.\u00a05,66,45,457\u00a0<\/strong>1st<\/sup>dose beneficiaries and\u00a01,82,62,665\u00a0<\/strong>2nd<\/sup>\u00a0dose beneficiaries of more than 60 years old.<\/p>\n

India\u2019s Daily Recoveries continue to outnumber the Daily New Cases for the 11th consecutive day.\u00a03,02,544\u00a0<\/strong>recoveries\u00a0were registered in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n

India\u2019s cumulative recoveries have reached\u00a02,37,28,011\u00a0<\/strong>today. The National Recovery Rate\u00a0has grown further to touch\u00a088.69%.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ten states account for\u00a072.23%\u00a0<\/strong>of the new recoveries.<\/p>\n

In another positive development, India has recorded less than 3 lakh Daily New Cases for eight consecutive days now. The gap between Daily New Cases and Daily Recovered Cases has reduced to 80,229 today.<\/p>\n

Ten States reported\u00a081.08%\u00a0<\/strong>of the new cases in last 24 hours.\u00a0Tamil Nadu\u00a0has reported the highest daily new cases at\u00a035,483,\u00a0followed by Maharashtra with 26,672 new cases.<\/p>\n

8\u00a0<\/strong>States cumulatively account for\u00a071.62%<\/strong>\u00a0of India\u2019s total Active Cases.<\/p>\n
