SRINAGAR, MAY 31, 2021<\/strong>: A delegation of Traders Federation Baramulla today called on Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Baseer Ahmad Khan at Civil Secretariat here and raised several developmental issues and demands pertaining to the district.<\/div>\n
Traders Federation led by its president Mohammad Ashraf Ganai briefed the Advisor about t problems faced by them in the district and submitted a memorandum of demands.<\/div>\n
They demanded speedy construction of NTPHC at old district hospital and augmentation of staff strength for NTPHC. They also demanded parking slots for the town and implementation of decongestion plan for the old town Baramulla.<\/div>\n
The Traders Federation also raised the demand for reconstruction of mini secretariat and beautification of civil lines area by way of reconstruction of roads, lanes, drainage, street lights. They also drew the attention of Advisor towards the rehabilitation of street vendors.<\/div>\n
The Federation also demanded separate water supply and dedicated receiving station for Government Medical College Baramulla, besides other issues of public importance.<\/div>\n
While interacting with the delegations, Advisor said that the Lieutenant Governor\u2019s Administration is committed towards development and welfare of all sections of the society and is taking effective steps in doing so.<\/div>\n
The Advisor gave them a patient hearing and assured them that all their issues and demands will be raised before the appropriate forum for redressal on merit.<\/div>\n
