India has reported\u00a01,14,460<\/strong>\u00a0New Cases in the last 24 hours. This is the lowest in the last two months.\u00a0The country has recorded\u00a0less than 2 lakh Daily New Cases<\/strong>\u00a0for\u00a010 continuous days\u00a0<\/strong>now<\/strong>. This is a result of\u00a0collaborative and sustained efforts by the Centre and States\/UTs following the \u201cwhole of Government\u201d approach.<\/p>\n

India has been witnessing a continuous fall in the active cases.The country\u2019s Active Caseload has dipped below 15 lakh mark; stands at 14,77,799 today. The Caseload is below 20 lakhs for six successive days.<\/p>\n

A net decline of\u00a077,449\u00a0<\/strong>is witnessed in the last 24 hours and active cases are now only\u00a05.13%<\/strong>of the country’s total Positive Cases.<\/p>\n

With more people recovering from COVID19 infection, India\u2019s Daily Recoveries continue to outnumber the Daily New Cases\u00a0for the 24th<\/sup>\u00a0consecutive\u00a0day.\u00a01,89,232\u00a0<\/strong>recoveries were registered in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n

74,772\u00a0<\/strong>more\u00a0recoveries were reported during the last 24 hours as compared to the daily new cases.<\/p>\n

Out of the people infected since beginning of the pandemic\u00a02,69,84,781 people have already recovered from COVID-19.\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0This constitutes an overall recovery rate of\u00a093.67%,\u00a0<\/strong>which is showing an increasing trend.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A total of 20,36,311 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours in the country and cumulatively India has conducted over 36.4 crore (36,47,46,522) tests so far.<\/p>\n

While on one side testing has been enhanced across the country, a continued decline in weekly case positivity is noticed.\u00a0Weekly Positivity Rate is currently at 6.54%<\/strong>\u00a0while the\u00a0Daily Positivity rate standsat 5.62% today.\u00a0<\/strong>It has remained less than 10% for 13 consecutive days now.<\/p>\n

In another significant achievement, the cumulative number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in the country has exceeded 23 crore.\u00a023.13 Cr<\/strong>\u00a0vaccine doses have been administered under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. 33,53,539 vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n

A total of\u00a023,13,22,417\u00a0<\/strong>vaccine doses have been administered through 32,42,503 sessions, as per the provisional report till 7 am today.<\/p>\n
