The Northern Limit of Monsoon (NLM)\u00a0passes through lat. 20.5\u00b0N\/ Long. 60\u00b0E, Diu, Surat,<\/p>\n<p>Nandurbar,\u00a0Raisen, Damoh,\u00a0Umaria,\u00a0Pendra\u00a0Road,\u00a0Bolangir,\u00a0Bhubaneswar,\u00a0Baripada,\u00a0Purulia,\u00a0Dhanbad,<\/p>\n<p>Dharbhanga\u00a0and\u00a0Lat.\u00a027\u00b0N\/85.0\u00b0E.\u00a0Conditions\u00a0are\u00a0favourable\u00a0for\u00a0further\u00a0advance\u00a0of southwest monsoon into some more parts of Madhya Pradesh, remaining parts<\/p>\n<p>Chhattisgarh, Odisha, West Bengal, Jharkhand and Bihar and some parts of\u00a0east\u00a0Uttar\u00a0Pradesh\u00a0during\u00a0next\u00a024\u00a0hours.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The\u00a0Low-Pressure\u00a0Area\u00a0now lies over northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining coastal areas of West Bengal and North Odisha. Associated cyclonic\u00a0circulation\u00a0extends\u00a0upto\u00a0mid-tropospheric\u00a0levels\u00a0tilting\u00a0southwestwards\u00a0with\u00a0height.\u00a0It\u00a0is\u00a0likely\u00a0to\u00a0become\u00a0more\u00a0marked\u00a0and\u00a0move\u00a0west-northwestwards\u00a0across\u00a0Odisha,\u00a0Jharkhand\u00a0and\u00a0North\u00a0Chhattisgarh\u00a0during\u00a0next\u00a02-3\u00a0days.<\/li>\n<li>An\u00a0east-west\u00a0trough\u00a0at\u00a0lower\u00a0tropospheric\u00a0levels\u00a0runs\u00a0from\u00a0south\u00a0Punjab\u00a0to center\u00a0of\u00a0<a name=\"0.1__GoBack\"><\/a>low-pressure\u00a0area\u00a0over\u00a0Northwest\u00a0Bay\u00a0of\u00a0Bengal\u00a0and\u00a0adjoining\u00a0coastal\u00a0areas of West Bengal and North Odisha. The east-west trough is very likely to persist during next 3-4 days. In addition, strong southwesterly winds are\u00a0prevailing\u00a0along\u00a0the\u00a0west\u00a0coast\u00a0at\u00a0lower\u00a0levels\u00a0and\u00a0an\u00a0off-shore\u00a0trough\u00a0lies\u00a0off\u00a0the\u00a0west\u00a0coast.\u00a0These\u00a0conditions\u00a0are\u00a0likely\u00a0to\u00a0persists\u00a0during\u00a0next\u00a04-5\u00a0days.<\/li>\n<li>Under their influence; fairly widespread to widespread rainfall activity with isolated\u00a0heavy to very heavy falls\u00a0very likely over Odisha, Chhattisgarh, East\u00a0Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Telangana during next 3-4 days.
